The release of the new iPhone, long awaited by Apple fans, is approaching in August. This will probably take place in September – a little patience is therefore still required. However, the rumor mill has been churning for months – what will the iPhone 14 be able to do? A new patent could now shed some light.
Apple has secured the rights to a new laser, namely the Horizontal Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (HCSEL). As the insider “FindBiometrics” reports, this could already be installed in the new iPhone and provide better biometric functions. As “Patently Apple” also reports, the tech giant wants to use the laser in the future to develop new VR gaming methods, among other things.
