With a unanimous decision, the Supervisory Board of the Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Vienna as well as the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of the Raiffeisen Holding were regulated. After he did not renew his contract as Chief Financial Officer of Raiffeisen Bank International, which expired next year, at his own request, Michael Höllerer was appointed as the new General Manager of Raiffeisen Vienna and Lower Austria. His contract runs for five years, starting June 1, 2022.
Höllerer joined the Raiffeisen sector in 2006 and over the years has been responsible for various areas in different functions. Erwin Hameseder, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RLB NÖ-Wien and Chairman of Raiffeisen-Holding NÖ-Wien, emphasizes: “In Michael Höllerer, the Raiffeisen Banking Group Lower Austria-Vienna has gained an experienced expert on the banking landscape, who will lead the company into the future with consistency and expertise and who sees Raiffeisen’s strength in working together. The Supervisory Board is looking forward to a successful and constructive cooperation.”
Michael Höllerer commented on his appointment as follows: “I would like to thank the committees of both companies for the trust they have placed in me. In these challenging times, there is hardly a more responsible task to actively and optimistically shape the future”.
