Mushroom – as well as politicians from the FPÖ and NEOS – have repeatedly been accused of having received information from Ott. The former Green politician and founder of the online magazine zackzack.at was one of the first people to provide information in the current U-Committee on March 3rd. There he had presented the chats from the cell phone of the former Interior Ministry head of cabinet Michael Kloibmüller and had been questioned by the ÖVP about the relationship with Ott.
The statements were made in an anonymous ad Mushroom‘ but doubted. Mushroom had stated that he had only known Ott personally in mid-2019. “This is a lie,” claims the author of the statement of facts, according to “Presse”. So should Mushroom already received information about the Kurdish murders from Ott in 2009. In addition, Ott’s criminal record shows that he already had questions for 2018 Peter Mushroom in connection with the BAT Committee of Inquiry.
Also Mushroom confirmed the investigations against his person, he did not want to comment on the content for the time being. He spoke of a “judicial scandal” and an insubstantial ad.
With the respect and appreciation for the judiciary, which has been warned so often in the past two years, the ex-green revealer does not seem to mean it too seriously, at least when the investigations are directed against him.
