Energy Minister Leonore Gewessler (Greens) speaks of a “serious situation”, but only meets on Tuesday. However, FPÖ boss Herbert Kickl only expects “hot air” from this. “The government’s ‘gobbling around’ and secrecy aren’t getting us anywhere,” he railed.
According to the FPÖ, the National Security Council must urgently deal with the gas supply. A corresponding application will be on the table of Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) on Monday. Kickl once again made his opinion clear about the sanctions against Russia: “These stupid sanctions mean that people can no longer afford to live,” he wrote on Instagram.
