As part of the eagerly awaited WWDC 2022 developer conference, Apple unveiled some innovations – but nothing captivated users more than the presentation of the new operating system generation for the iPhone. iOS 16 is expected to come onto the market as early as autumn and will then be offered free of charge for all Apple smartphones. But not only for the iPhone, but also for the iPad, the Mac, the Apple Watch and Apple TV there will be an operating system upgrade from autumn.
Probably the most exciting new feature of iOS16 for users is the ability to now also freely design the iPhone lock screen as you wish – and not just in terms of the background image: the new operating system allows you to choose what information is shown – and how his background image should look like. With so-called live activities, iPhone users will be able to manage events such as sports, music or taxi rides without constantly receiving new updates.
