VdB is already reaping applause on its YouTube: “The only right candidate for this important function,” explains a viewer. “They have my vote with all my heart and I wish them great success!” Another praises: “Very great video !!!”.
Some see it the same way on Twitter. A Twitterer would have liked more words against the ÖVP:
Others are less enthusiastic, not necessarily because of van der Bellen as a person, but because they question the usefulness of the office. The election campaign alone will consume millions again. In times of record inflation, when everyone has to tighten their belts, that doesn’t go down well.
But there is no lack of citizens who simply feel abandoned and not represented by VdB as president. Quite a few make it clear: This is not my Federal President; The main thing is that he won’t.
