During the Corona period, school directors and teachers in particular have shown themselves to be extremely obedient to measures. The educators care little about how the students are doing with compulsory tests and wearing masks. Very few children and young people dare to speak against it. Most suffer and endure the madness in silence. Not so the courageous 16-year-old Johannes. He showed real civil courage and opposed the senseless measures in the schools.
An interview with Edith Brötzner
The committed, quiet model student never really found the Corona measures to be useful. Johannes is one of the few young people who have been dealing with the facts and background since the beginning of the pandemic. For health reasons, wearing a mask is impossible for him. At school, the student’s health is not taken into account and instead bullying him massively. The test mania is also incomprehensible to Johannes. He refuses regular tests at school. The current situation reminds him of the film “The Wave”, in which the manipulation mechanisms are just as clear as in the Corona period. The tough sixteen-year-old is also disappointed by the teachers who obey without thinking. Criticism is more appropriate and necessary than ever for him today.
(No) right to school education?
Johannes has a clear opinion about vaccination: This must always remain a free and personal decision that must be respected in any case. The youngster no longer attends school. The refusal to take the tests was followed by expulsion from school. Against his will, under the threat of the police, the student was simply sent home. A clear violation of the right to education. In the meantime, Johannes has already spoken about his experiences at several demonstrations and is actively committed to protecting fundamental rights. In an exciting interview, he tells us why he has not regretted his exclusion from school to this day and why he is now questioning the entire school system.
