Bitcoin fraud: Tiroler (82) lost 100,000 euros to fake crypto experts

An 82-year-old man from Reith near Kitzbühel (Tyrol) was the victim of a crypto scammer. The stranger promised the senior high profits if he made investments in Bitcoins – which he did. The sprightly investment prospect transferred money to the alleged crypto expert several times, and money was also debited from his account several times. The damage is over 100,000 euros.
