Not everyone has that at home: Austrian Airlines is auctioning off rows of seats from the economy class of its Boeing 767 fleet as well as over 170 on-board trolleys. All net proceeds will be donated to Neighbors in Need in cooperation with the auction platform Aurena to support the war-affected people in Ukraine, it said in an announcement on Friday.

Starting prices start at 50 euros

The seats were used on long-haul flights worldwide and have now been exchanged for premium economy class seats during a cabin conversion. They have been repapered true to the original and are up for auction in sets of 2 and 3. The starting prices are 240 or 360 euros.

In addition, there are more than 170 aircraft trolleys on offer, which, among other things, have flown many miles with Tyrolean as serving trolleys. Possible new areas of application are original pieces of furniture, bar trolleys or robust tool cabinets. They start at a starting price of 50 euros.
