For the first time since the verdict on Boris Becker and his detention in the British Wandsworth prison last week, his second wife Lilly Becker gave her first interview. On Piers Morgan Talk TV, she spoke about how she experienced the verdict, how Boris is doing in prison – and how her son Amadeus (12) is doing, who has now been without his father for more than two years .
Lilly Becker has told talk show host Piers Morgan that her son Amadeus already misses his father madly and she hopes they can visit him in prison.
Speaking of Boris Becker, she said: “Thank goodness his mental health is so strong and he’s probably prepared for those moments. Because life with Boris never gets boring, headline after headline.” Boris and Lilly Becker married in 2009 and separated in 2018 after nine years together.
When asked how she reacted to the conviction, Ms Becker told TalkTV: “I completely broke down. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing because I was convinced until the judge’s verdict that he would be a little easier than two and a half years. Postscript: “I really had to pull myself together and I don’t know how I pulled it off.”
