Shanghai: Despite “zero Covid horror”, new infections are not falling

Despite very strict measures and curfews for several weeks, new infections in the Chinese city of Shanghai are hardly falling. The Chinese government’s zero-Covid strategy is inhumane: infected people are taken to sealed off quarantine stations, and their pets are often killed. Videos show people screaming for help from their homes – they are hungry.
