Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez suffered a terrible blow of fate: As the Manchester United player and his pregnant girlfriend announced on Instagram and Twitter, their unborn son died in the womb.
The couple were expecting twins and were excited about the birth of a boy and a girl. The twin girls appear to be doing well and are “the only support we have in this horrific situation,” the two wrote in a joint statement on social media.
