According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Red Bull Salzburg apparently have their eye on Fernando. The Brazilian is currently at Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk. According to Romano, the negotiations are in the final phase. Accordingly, Fernando should strengthen the bulls from July 1st.
Fernando joined Ukraine from Palmeiras in 2018. In 2019, the attacker was loaned to Sporting Lisbon for half a year. This season Fernando made two appearances in the Champions League and scored two goals – against Sheriff Tiraspol and Real Madrid, among others. The Shakhtar Donetsk striker is set to be signed to replace Karim Adeyemi, who has been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund.
However, the transfer is not yet complete. Dortmund, Salzburg and Adeyemi should agree. The Salzburg striker is supposed to replace Haaland at BVB, who is said to be about to move to Manchester City. However, the ideas on the subject of bonus payments and clauses are still far apart. This is one of the reasons why Adeyemi should hold talks with RB Leipzig, Paris St. Germain and Liverpool, according to “Sky Sport Austria”.
