According to the results of a Quinnipiac University poll published on Wednesday, only 33 percent of those polled support the policies of US President Joe Biden. While there are still 73 percent of voters for the Democratic Party and 26 percent for independents, it is only three percent for Republicans.
An equally modest 39 percent agree with his Ukraine policy and 68 percent want him to do more to stop the assassination of Putin’s forces – possibly explaining his recent, sharply scathing statement in which he accused Putin of “genocide.” This statement is judged similarly by 82 percent of respondents who see Putin as a “war criminal”.
A similarly fatal result had already been reached in January and ended up with an approval rate of 40 percent. In addition to the Ukraine war, other factors are also responsible for Biden’s poor performance: In March, inflation in the United States reached its highest level since 1981 at 8.5 percent, and fuel prices are also exploding.
