Lisa Paus has been a member of the Greens since 1995 and comes from North Rhine-Westphalia. Most recently, she was deputy chairwoman of the Greens parliamentary group. She has also acted as the group’s financial policy spokesperson.
Paus already has her sights set on the first measures that she can implement in her office as Minister for Family Affairs. So she called for basic child security “regardless of the marriage certificate” of the parents. In doing so, no distinction should be made as to whether they are married or divorced. She also campaigned for better and more flexible childcare, which was primarily intended to improve the professional activity of single parents.
