The Red governor had constantly emphasized his innocence – and now Justitia agrees with him. The proceedings against Burgenland boss Hans Peter Doskozil, whom the ÖVP had reported last year due to an alleged false statement in the sub-committee on the Commerzialbank case, are now officially discontinued.
As the daily newspaper “Heute” reports, the discontinuation of the investigation, which has now been running for exactly one year (since April 2021), has been officially confirmed and approved by the Council of Wise Men in the Ministry of Justice in agreement with the Economic and Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (WkSta) and the Vienna Public Prosecutor’s Office. Doskozil himself, who, in addition to his innocence, always emphasized his trust in the WkSta, wants to make a statement on this next Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
