Another debate about neutrality: NEOS want to let Selenskyj speak in parliament

Apparently, the SPÖ and FPÖ were not impressed by the idea – Scherak attested the other two opposition factions “misunderstood neutrality”. In the light of the Russian attacks on Ukraine, Zelenskyj recently addressed the US Congress, the European Parliament, the German Bundestag and the Israeli Knesset in video speeches. “We NEOS are convinced that in such a situation you have to take a clear position. And that also means that the Ukrainian President, like in other countries, can also speak in the Austrian Parliament,” demanded Vice-Chairman Nikolaus Scherak.
