He started with start number one. This number seems to have brought Marco Odermatt luck in the first run, because the Swiss is in the lead before the second round. Lucas Braathen (+0.20) and Justin Murisier (+0.50) are second and third. The best Austrian after the first run is Stefan Brennsteiner (+0.65) with fifth place.
The other ÖSV runners are far behind. The second best Austrian is Marco Schwarz, who is in 15th place (+1.50). With Patrick Feuerstein (20./+1.80) and Manuel Feller (22./+2.12) the other Austrians follow. Manuel Feller was able to save himself after an inside ski error and is 22nd penultimate in the classification – ahead of speed star Aleksander Aamodt Kilde. Raphael Haaser retired after only a few seconds of driving.
The second round will take place at 12.00 p.m. If it doesn’t bring any surprises, the Swiss men will clearly extend their lead in the World Cup team rankings over Austria from the current ten points. Four of the top seven in the list of results are Swiss.
