At the end of the Austrian football European Cup season, LASK once again collected points for the UEFA five-year ranking. Thanks to the last-minute 4: 3 win in the second leg of the Europa Conference League against Slavia Prague, the new all-time record was screwed to 10.4 points. The previous record was 9.75 points since the 2017/18 season, in which Salzburg only failed in the Europa League semifinals.
“We look back on a historic European Cup season. Never before have so many records been set and broken within a year. I am particularly pleased that several of our clubs have made a significant contribution to this historic record of points in the UEFA five-year ranking,” said Bundesliga CEO Christian Ebenbauer in a broadcast.
