David Alaba meets defending champions Chelsea with Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. According to the draw at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon on Friday, England will play the Spaniards at home first. Bayern Munich (Marcel Sabitzer) has to deal with Villarreal, the first duel takes place in Spain. Manchester City meets Atletico Madrid, Benfica Lisbon (Valentino Lazaro) meets Liverpool. Game dates are on 5./6. or 12./13. April.
In the semi-finals, the winner of the Manchester City vs. Atletico game will meet the winner of the Chelsea-Real match. The second semi-final pits the winners of the Benfica-Liverpool match against Villarreal’s promoted team against Bayern. The final will take place on May 28th at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis near Paris.
