After our decision not to invite the landlord from St. Johann am Steinfelde, who was apparently well-known to parts of the Austrian resistance, to our studio, relevant circles called for a “shit storm” against our magazine. We can stand it. Apparently, however, it is urgently necessary to show the limits that apply to our work and are non-negotiable: We are fighting very specifically against all excesses of dictatorship and fascism.
A statement on his own behalf by Florian Machl
Yes, our magazine is clearly patriotic. We love our country, the people in it and also the peoples and nations of Europe. Love of one’s own does not mean hating what is foreign. Anyone who does not understand this has not understood why one loves one’s own at all. And he probably didn’t understand why people try to protect themselves and their loved ones against coercive measures and unconstitutional medical interventions. We want everyone’s rights to be respected. And we want to be free, self-determined people.
The stumbling block
At a private Event in St. Johann am Steinfelde At the beginning of February there was a large-scale police operation, which arrived with 45 officers. In the ÖVP stronghold of Lower Austria, they probably wanted to make an example of opponents of Corona measures. However, there are videos from the event where the officials were teased by those present – a former neo-Nazi who was regularly driven by all the media was also involved. However, to be fair, he has served his sentence and, like everyone else, has the right to rehabilitation. Unfortunately – and certainly not pertinently – some well-known faces from the Corona resistance scene were also present. Also present: A would-be journalist who filmed himself abusing drugs and attracted attention with photos of guns. The landlord of this bar wanted to give us an interview – we (like other alternative media, by the way) turned it down. He is currently under investigation for re-activation, allegedly he has spread offensive content on social media. Of course, this accusation could also be constructed in times like these, because the authorities find every possibility of repression against the resistance right.
Face real problems instead of dancing mock battles
The citizens of Austria face real problems. They are threatened by compulsory vaccination, which, according to all available international data, does not in any way protect against an illness. The claims of a milder course or fewer hospitalizations cannot be verified and should be relegated to the realm of questions of faith. We counteract these real problems with research, facts and peaceful protest.
We do not engage in violence, extremism and division
We are not open to violence and extremism, nor do we participate in disputes and divisions in the resistance scene. Anyone who has paid close attention will notice that we no longer have any news about some of the protagonists of the resistance. Anyone who constantly agitates against their own people and even goes to court to denounce them has lost the value compass that is important in difficult times like these. It’s not about the personal vanities of individuals, nor about who is the most famous organizer with the most participants. We don’t have to insult these people, we don’t have to play the denunciation game, and we won’t step down either. We just don’t have any of those. The same applies to anyone who has committed themselves to radicalization, inciting violence or even pursuing anti-constitutional ideologies.
Resistance lives from the truth
The Austrian resistance lives from the truth. While the mainstream media wrote from the first rally that only violent people, radicals and neo-Nazis romped around there, every Austrian could convince himself that this was a lie. The resistance is supported by mainstream society. There are hundreds of thousands of normal people from all walks of life who are fed up with mania for taking measures and the need to vaccinate and who simply worry about their health and their future. This truth, objectively verifiable by anyone, is the essence of resistance in every country in the world.
Should media lies suddenly become true?
Few things would harm the resistance more than to fraternize with people whose biographies make it clear that they reject democracy and the constitution. This is exactly what would suddenly provide the media with evidence for their previously freely fabricated claims. We will not offer a stage to anyone who tends in this direction. Our constitution is perfectly fine, it just has to be lived, the executive and judiciary just have to observe it. In our interviews we talk to the people mentioned from the middle of society, with people who can tell an exciting story or have ideas on how to help each other.
Never violence, never war!
In our view, what counts are the violent left-wing extremists, who take to the streets for the multi-billionaires’ cause and for the government’s narrative to commit serious property damage and bodily harm, to the lowest, most depraved criminals of our time. But that doesn’t mean that we offer a stage for other political tendencies that don’t like the constitution and nonviolence. We fight for freedom but not for the cause of those who just want to install another kind of bondage.
Medium and audience – you mutually choose what suits each other
If individuals who have attracted attention with an intense criminal life story now think they have to stage some little film or shit storm against us because we don’t offer them a stage or a home here, then they are welcome to do so. We can stand it. In fact, we thank them for giving us the opportunity to formulate and publish this statement at just the right time. Your reaction to the rejection of the above interviews confirms that it is good not to rub shoulders with such people. It’s not distancing either, because you don’t have to distance yourself from things you don’t have anything to do with.
No one will blackmail their agenda into our reporting
Anyone who feels comfortable in the mainstream such as ORF, Standard, Falter and other media should please consume these offers, but do not ask us to report like this. This also applies to the other extreme. We report to the best of our knowledge and belief and within the scope of our possibilities. Should we ever make a mistake, we are very grateful for polite information and will correct ourselves. No threat, insult or insult will stop us from reporting what is close to our hearts – and just as little will anyone be able to blackmail their own agenda into our reporting with these means. We also owe that to our sponsors – those readers who subscribe to the same ideals as we do and who feel comfortable with us.
