A suspension of the ministerial office until the end of the entire investigation would be the minimum for the reputation of the Austrian constitutional state – exactly this “impeachability” was also demanded by the Green government members and party friends of the minister when the first suspicions against Sebastian Kurz surfaced last year.
The behavior of the Greens is also responsible for many negative comments on the social media platforms and also in the eXXpress reader forum. Minister of Justice herself: She only had “her office” comment on the initiation of the investigation by the University of Vienna. A reader literally: “Probably even Austria’s Empress Sisi would have spoken to the people herself in a similar government crisis.”
