Were Upper Austrians persuaded to take a sometimes dangerous vaccination based on misleading and false facts and figures? The association “Wir EMUs” demands clarification – and has complaint against the Upper Austrian provincial government and the President of the Upper Austrian Medical Association, Peter Niedermoser.
The business association with its around 900 members criticizes the so-called “fact check on the Covid-19 vaccination”, which the state government published together with the Upper Austrian Medical Association. This document was not only used as a means of information on the Covid vaccination, but also to justify the extension of the lockdown for the unvaccinated.
Downplaying potential severe vaccine damage
The document concentrates on bringing the benefits of vaccination closer to the population – it downplays serious vaccine damage. It is claimed that facial paralysis as a result of the vaccination “regresses completely” – but this is demonstrably wrong. In addition, the fact check claims that the vaccination prevents severe courses and reduces the risk of infection.
In addition, the risk of myocarditis is not 1:100,000 but a power of ten higher (1:10,000, Paul Ehrlich Institute). It is also not enough, as claimed in the “fact check”, to “take it easy and not do competitive sports for seven days” in the case of heart muscle inflammation: Rather, if you have symptoms, you should urgently consult a doctor, since this disease does not heal in 56% and is fatal in 2% .
Criminal charges filed: Were people enticed to vaccinate with false facts?
Because of this government and medical association document, the Upper Austrian business alliance “Wir EMUs” has now filed a criminal complaint with the StA-Linz for forgery of documents (downplaying vaccine damage and false claims) and for possible crimes against life and limb. “In view of this falsification of facts, we assume that the authorities and the medical association wanted to lure unsuspecting people to vaccinate against their better knowledge”, according to Dr. Wolfgang Schmidauer, Attorney at “We EMUs”. From his point of view, the subjective aspect of the offense (necessary for a conviction) is thus also fulfilled.
Bernhard Costa, spokesman for “Wir EMUs”, added: “On the one hand, the risk of serious complications was trivialized, on the other hand, it has been claimed, contrary to the facts, that the vaccination curbs the transmission of the viral load, which is demonstrably not the case. A review by the public prosecutor’s office is therefore essential.”
