Die NFL hat Football-Profi Calvin Ridley suspended by the Atlanta Falcons for at least the entire next season for betting on games at the wide receiver. This was announced by the National Football League. So have Ridley bet on NFL games for several days in November 2021. He had recently taken a break from football due to mental problems.

According to the league, an investigation has found that Ridley did not use inside information, that no games were compromised, and that no coaches, support staff, teammates or other players were aware of his activities. Ridley wrote on Twitter that he had wagered $1500 and was not addicted to gambling. As a result, the football star loses his salary for the next season – it is eleven million US dollars.
The 27-year-old wide receiver has played in the NFL for the Falcons since 2018 and set several bests in his rookie season.
