The research platform “Fact Sheet Austria“ regularly evaluates the official data on the Corona situation and puts it in relation to the big picture. An analysis of the number of deaths has now shown: In two years, 0.16% of all Austrians died with or from Covid-19 – the majority were older than 75 years. Every death must be mourned without a doubt – regardless of the cause of death. But how does this data support the narrative of the universally deadly “pandemic”?
It is unclear how many of the official Covid victims died because of the infection or only with a positive test and because of other illnesses or injuries. The majority of those who died – 10,635 out of 14,167 (surveyed up to February 25, 2022) – were older than 75 years. On the one hand, this suggests that the government has failed to protect vulnerable groups. On the other hand, the numbers again confirm the fact that Covid-19 only poses a real danger to old and pre-ill people – which makes the massive restrictions on fundamental rights and the compulsory vaccination for the entire population ad absurdum.
It is also interesting that the number of test positives has almost quintupled in the second “pandemic” year, while mortality from Covid has fallen. Nevertheless, the panic drum continues to be beaten and vaccination is propagated as a “necessary” step. Even if the vaccination were to keep what was promised, high vaccination rates were already achieved in the vulnerable groups: The vaccination of other, not endangered age groups with de facto coercion through horrendous fines is simple based on the bare numbers unjustifiable – and then there are the risks of vaccination side effects.
