Alois Endl lives his passion as a lifestyle photographer and has made a name for himself with his demo photos. With his lifestyle shoots in Dubai, he shows that you can live your dreams. Our editor Edith Brötzner talked to him about the entry requirements in Dubai in the Report24 “Klartext” interview and wanted to know how many right-wing extremists he had encountered at his numerous demos to date.
An interview with Edith Brötzner
Before Alois Endl discovered his love for photography, he built conservatories for twenty years. After selling his company six years ago, he devoted himself entirely to photography. Through his conscious decision to only do what he enjoys four years ago, he found his calling as a lifestyle photographer. The photographer was already critical at the beginning of the Corona period and quickly realized that it was actually about something different than what the government wants us to believe. Since January 2021, Alois Endl has been taking photos regularly at rallies in Linz, Vienna and Salzburg. While he his atmospheric demo pictures initially made available primarily to the press, One finds this one now freely available on his website demofotos.at. Since he runs this project completely free of charge and with a lot of time and passion, the photographer is happy about appreciation contributions for his valuable work.
No green passport in Dubai!
To date, the photographer has not regretted getting up and showing his face. Although one or the other customer left him because of his demo visits, many new customers have since joined. The passionate photographer shows that you should live your dreams with his Dubai lifestyle photo shoots. There is no need to be afraid of measures and mandatory vaccinations in Dubai. A simple PCR test is sufficient for a trip to Dubai and you won’t be asked for your green passport there either, says Endl in an interview. The mask requirement has now also fallen in Dubai. The photographer has planned his next trip to Dubai from March 12th to 20th, during which sun-seekers can still secure shooting dates.
The damage caused by the lockdowns is enormous
A particularly important issue in turbulent times is mental health. Alois Endl has a special ritual here. He only uses the first hour of the day for himself. During this time he writes ten things he is grateful for on a piece of paper, thinks about his goals or reads a good book. Only then is it available to the outside world.
His pictures can also be found in the book “Lockdownschicksale”. In this book, people have their say who were hit particularly hard by the lockdowns and yet have not lost their positive attitude and courage to face life. It is still unclear whether there will be a sequel to the book. In any case, there would be enough fates to report on. The photographer is convinced that other countries that have taken little or no action are better off than us. The damage caused by the completely excessive lockdowns and measures is enormous and the effects have long been visible.
At best, FFP2 masks protect against dust
Alois Endl also sharply criticizes the mask requirement. As a trained carpenter, he knows that an FFP2 mask protects against dust at best, but not against viruses. He now urgently needs a new policy and new media. People need hope and the fomenting of fear has to stop. Endl sees a government of experts as a good solution. Even if the last government of experts did not do much, it did ensure stability. Although the split caused by politics and the media can hardly be bridged, Endl sees the great solidarity of the people. The quest for freedom is great. The citizens can no longer be oppressed and do not need the desired globalization and surveillance.
Even vaccinated people were cheated
Although Alois Endl has been to more than twenty rallies, he has not yet met any right-wing extremists or those who refuse to accept the state there. For him, there are normal people there, especially many children and older people. After the introduction of compulsory vaccination, the demos really exploded. In the meantime, even those who have been vaccinated realize that they have been cheated and take to the streets until the government resigns.
What is needed now is real freedom and for Endl that will only come back with a new government. The photographer hopes that experts who communicate openly will finally have their say again. It’s time to end the division and find a solution together.
