The Italian government wants to impose a three-month state of emergency because of the Ukraine conflict. This means that Prime Minister Mario Draghi’s cabinet can issue regulations in connection with Italy’s additional commitment within the framework of NATO, it was said in Rome on Friday. The government wants to release 153 million euros for 2022 and 21 million for 2023 to finance Italy’s participation in the “High Readiness Force” to be activated by NATO.
