Earlier, the leader of the separatist republic in Donetsk, Denis Pushilin, had claimed the entire eastern Ukrainian province. During the 2014 Ukraine war, the separatists in Donetsk and Luhansk were only able to take control of small parts of the provinces of the same name. Accordingly, a chemical plant on the Ukrainian peninsula annexed by Russia has been evacuated. This could be the preparation for a fabricated pretext by Russia for aggression.
