“In November I had both breasts removed. I wanted the most radical procedure and the best possible chance for me not to fall ill again,” says Sonya in an interview with “Bunte”. The mother of two children also had to endure chemotherapy. “When I got out of the clinic, I said to my sons, ‘Mom has nice new breasts and the lump is gone.'”
As an affected person, it is now a matter of the heart for Kraus to educate and encourage women to take precautions. “In this pandemic, many women unfortunately dare to go to the doctor far too late. But these 20 minutes can save your life,” she explains in an interview. After the therapy, both breasts were rebuilt.
