Unheated apartments in Hungary claimed 118 cold deaths in just four months

In Hungary from October to January are already 118 people froze to death. This is an increase of 33 percent compared to the previous year, the online portal “24.hu” reported on Monday, citing the Hungarian Social Forum (MSZF). The majority of people died in their unheated homes. They were mostly old, weak people who lived alone in deep poverty.
