Double the joy of medals at the European Toboggan Championships: Kindl wins gold, Gleirscher bronze

Two reasons to be happy for Austria: Wolfgang Kindl and Nico Gleirscher won gold and bronze in the European Championships at the Luge World Cup finals in St. Moritz on Saturday. With a lead of 0.021 seconds, Kindl won ahead of Latvian Kristers Aparjods. Gleirscher improved by four places in the decision and finished third, 0.300 seconds behind Kindl. The Tyrolean ended the season second in the World Cup behind the German Johannes Ludwig.
