Do you remember the hateful comments made by many vaccinated people when, in the autumn, wages were no longer paid in quarantine for those who had not been vaccinated? “They can be vaccinated,” it said. However, many of these people still incorrectly assumed at the time that it was just two pricks. The German federal government is now making it abundantly clear that you are by no means off the hook after two injections.
Now those who have been vaccinated twice are to be increasingly harassed in the same way as unvaccinated citizens: Anyone who has to be in quarantine because of Corona and is therefore unable to do their work, If there is no booster vaccination, someone who has not received a Covid shot at all will soon have to forego their continued payment of wages. This comes from a short report by the Bundestag lawyers, which the “image” exists. It is quoted there: “The absence of the Covid 19 booster vaccination would then lead to the exclusion of the claim for compensation (…).”
The reason: the loss of work could have been prevented with a “publicly recommended” third dose of vaccination.
Although the new regulation has not yet been decided, it will be implemented soon considered possible. The public argument is the same as for the unvaccinated: Anyone who resists the vaccination subscription is simply “lacking solidarity”. Thorsten Frei, the first parliamentary secretary of the CDU/CSU, quoted:
In order not to unnecessarily burden the community of solidarity, the employee should strive for the highest possible level of personal protection. Anyone who expressly renounces this protection should also be prepared to bear the consequences.
Anyone who is ill, i.e. who can show a yellow certificate, will continue to receive their salary regardless of their vaccination status.
