The letter published on Thursday – i.e. just on the day of the vote – is addressed to the federal government. “For months we have been confronted with constantly new, often contradictory regulations, many of which make our everyday work extremely difficult,” says the open letter. With the introduction of general vaccination, a red line has now been crossed. When she arrives, the authors of the letter announce that they will stop work and go on strike. “We will not be dissuaded from our decision by pressure or coercion.”
One of the group’s spokespersons is Verena Egger, who has already resigned from her job in protest against the Corona policy. The organization FAN (Free Workers Austria), which is close to vaccination-critical MFG, also appears as a supporter.
