Upper Austria’s FPÖ regional councilor Günther Steinkellner has been infected with Corona for the second time. Steinkellner, who was vaccinated for the first time in spring 2021, fell ill with Covid-19 a few days later. Then in the fall he got his second stitch. Despite the upright vaccination status, he regularly carried out rapid antigen tests, according to the state party headquarters. After a test was positive, he went into self-quarantine.
The PCR test that was then carried out also gave a positive result, the party informed on Monday. Steinkellner only feels mild symptoms and conducts official business from the home office, it was said.
