Wind peaks of 80 to just over 100 km/h affect the health of many people today: They complain of dizziness, nausea and circulatory problems. On many mountains, the gusts reached even higher values - on the Sonnwendstein (Lower Austria) and on the Feuerkogel (Upper Austria) even over 120 km/h.
Sensitive people south of the main ridge of the Alps also feel the foehn north wind, which can be expressed in migraine-like headaches. On Tuesday, the weather situation should relax a bit and the well-being should increase as a result. However, stormy winds are forecast again for Thursday and Friday.
