The double standards of the media public can be seen in the reaction – or non-reaction – to a cowardly arson attack by terrorists from the Viennese Antifa. Last Saturday they threw stones and incendiary devices at the home of a student fraternity. They also damaged numerous parked vehicles and also endangered the residents of adjacent buildings. Week after week, the same terrorists mock the peaceful and freedom-loving participants in the mega-demos in Vienna.
A comment by Willi Huber
The cowardly boys and girls prefer to commit violence and terror when no one is looking. The gentlemen don’t dare to strike out against 100,000 rally participants in front of everyone. They prefer to strike when they are outnumbered and nothing can happen to them. This happened again on January 15th. In Vienna’s Gumpendorferstrasse, they caused considerable property damage to the headquarters of the conservative “Olympia” student fraternity. “Collateral damage” to parked vehicles included. In addition to projectiles, the criminals also carried hammers.
If the plan of the terrorists, who are said to have close ties to left-wing parties, had been successful and the house caught fire, they would have accepted the deaths of numerous residents of the street. Arson attacks are the means of choice for left-wing radicals who cannot articulate their political demands in a civilized manner – for example, in German Saxony, people count from 2017 to 2020 135 such offenses.
Here, an alleged left-wing radical downplays the crime, bragging about it on Twitter:
During the escalation of violence, among other things, the BMW of an uninvolved Turkish businessman was badly damaged.
The Viennese FPÖ politician Leo Kohlbauer promises legal and political consequences via press release and Twitter.
In addition, Kohlbauer points out that the press office of the City of Vienna is always there with praising images – even from a helicopter – when a left-wing demo is to be advertised – there is not even a press release about the attack on the fraternity home. Below is the press release from the district party leader of Vienna-Mariahilf:
FP-Kohlbauer calls for a ban on Antifa after the arson attack
The assassination also endangered the surrounding residential buildings – cars were damaged
Vienna (OTS) – After yesterday’s arson attack on the house of an academic student fraternity on Gumpendorfer Strasse, FPÖ-Mariahilf district party leader Leo Kohlbauer demands immediate “action sharp” and a ban on the left-wing Antifa. “This brutal attack shows once again that violence, hatred and criminal offenses are not to be found in peaceful, patriotic demonstrators, but in the radical left-wing scene surrounding the extremist Antifascist Action,” Kohlbauer adds, criticizing the lax treatment of these criminals by the media, police and government. “This attack in a densely populated residential area must be a wake-up call for the interior minister. The incendiary devices and projectiles caused damage to parked cars and it could have been worse if the fire had spread to the surrounding apartment buildings.” explains Kohlbauer and announces corresponding FP resolutions in the district council after this escapade of violence. “In the event of such a threat to the Mariahilfer population from left-wing extremist criminals, the district manager should not remain idle.”
