From January 16th to 24th, Admira wanted to get the finishing touches for the spring season in the Bundesliga in Marbella (Spain). But these plans had to be scrapped. Due to a Corona case, the Lower Austrians decided to cancel the training camp. The team will have a home program for the next few days. The Südstädter announced this in a broadcast. The team will undergo another PCR test on Monday morning.
The next training session is scheduled for Tuesday. The test matches scheduled for the training camp are cancelled. A replacement is currently being sought. However, Admira was already able to fix test games. On Saturday, January 29th, Andreas Herzog’s team meets Blau-Weiss Linz. On Friday, February 4th, at 2:00 p.m., they will test against SV Horn.
Admira is not the only Bundesliga club that had to cancel a training camp. Red Bull Salzburg and Sturm Graz have also decided to cancel the training camp. The people of Graz had prepared for spring in Turkey. The cops would have traveled to Spain.
