Pope Francis surprisingly visited the record shop of a good friend in central Rome and blessed it. After he had often shopped in the music store as a simple bishop, the owner now got a visit from his old friend – as a pontifex.
The presence of pope was observed by Spanish Vatican journalist Javier Martinez Brocal. He filmed that popeas he left the store. The shop owners gave Francis a record of classical music. The pictures were published by Martinez Brocal on Twitter.
Francis has expressed his taste in music in several interviews in the past, as reported by the Kathpress. The 85-year-old is therefore passionate about listening to Mozart, but the works of Beethoven, Bach and Wagner are also in the record collection of the pope represent.
Pope Francis has often been spotted on short visits to Rome. Among other things, he was observed some time ago on a shopping trip in the Italian capital.
