For Moscow, the crisis in Kazakhstan is a veritable security challenge. They want to prevent a “second Ukraine”. Interestingly, the Bidens, and possibly the Clintons, could also have a hand here.
In the German-speaking mainstream media, the crisis in Kazakhstan is described as “spontaneous uprising”, Caused by the sharp rise in gas prices. The FAZ reports on one Power struggle of the Kazakh elite, in which ex-President Nursultan Nazarbayev is said to be involved. President Kassym-Shomart Tokayev has dismissed and arrested the head of the domestic secret service KNB, Kasim Masimov, for high treason. He is considered a loyal ally of the former president, who was also considered a kleptocrat and enriched himself with national resources during his tenure.
What is left out in the reporting of the German-speaking main streamers, however, is Masimov’s connection (who was Prime Minister under Nazarabjew and was considered his “right hand”) with Joe and Hunter Biden. While the The New York Post and the The Daily Mail drew attention to the Kazakhstan connection in the course of reports on Hunter Biden’s “Laptop from Hell”, this does not play a role in the local reporting. Another report in The Sun from that time alludes to the fact that Biden was vice president, whose son Hunter was the intermediary between him and the Kazakh oligarch Kenes Rakishev. This was also photographed with the two Bidens and Masimow in a photo, which was from an anti-corruption website as early as 2019 released would.
The entanglements of the Bidens
First released by a Kazakh anti-corruption website in 2019, the snapshot follows on from last week’s groundbreaking NYPost revelations in which Hunter Biden’s overseas business as well as a report alleging that Rachichev paid the Biden offspring to act as an intermediary for brokering US investments. As for his relationships with Kazakh oligarchs and power brokers, the NYPost story had given more details:
A Daily Mail report released on Friday detailed Hunter Biden’s alleged work with Rachichev, saying he had regular dinners with the Kazakh businessman and tried to get investments for his money in New York, Washington, DC and a mining company in Nevada . But Rachichev, who has close ties with Kazakhstan’s kleptocratic ex-president, reportedly ran into trouble when Western business partners realized the obscure origins of his alleged $ 300 million fortune could become a “burden,” the Mail said.
This raises a number of questions, starting with: What are the links between the Biden family and the kleptocratic former president of Kazakhstan and his circle of oligarchs and powerful security officials?
What about the Clintons?
Back in 1997 visited Hillary Clinton, then as First Lady, on a trip through several former Soviet states of Kazakhstan. Also as US Secretary of State visited her the country – and met President Nazarbayev again. What about Bill Clinton? That played a role as well. A lucrative uranium mining deal for Canadian investor Frank Giustra resulted in generous donations for the Clinton Foundation (please refer here and here). The whole thing was covered by the Obama-Administration. The Ministry of Justice in particular played an important role in this. A couple of Kazakh oligarchs around the then President Nazarbayev have also cashed in properly for this. No wonder, then, that Kazakhstan is once again playing a key role in the current Democratic government in the United States.
If you consider that Ukraine is for the US Democrats (too, of course for the Clintons) was and is essential, and even back then Biden was responsible for the country as Vice President under Barack Obama war, the whole regional scene becomes interesting. The expansion of the conflict from Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan – and, to a limited extent, Belarus – to Kazakhstan is creating a destabilization belt from the Russian western border to the Russian southern border. This is a veritable security threat to Moscow. And that is exactly what the US leadership needs to weaken Russia and advance its own goals in the region. That means: NATO eastward expansion and political and economic control over the resources there.
