Wendy Holdener led after the first round in the Kranjska Gora slalom. The Swiss woman secured the fastest time after the first run ahead of Petra Vlhova and Mikaela Shiffrin. But in the second round, Petra Vlhova set the tone, celebrating her fifth slalom victory this season. For Vlhova it was the 25th World Cup victory. Third place went to Anna Swenn-Larsson from Sweden. Holdener has to continue to wait for her first win. The Swiss woman missed the win by +0.23 seconds.
Katharina Liensberger, who was in fifth place after the first round, threaded in and was eliminated. Mikaela Shiffrin was also eliminated in the second round. The best Austrian was Katharina Truppe in seventh place (+2.46) ahead of Katharina Gallhuber (+2.50 seconds). Katharina Huber finished in eleventh place and narrowly missed the top ten. Marie-Therese Sporer is in 27th place. Chiara Mair finished in 19th place.
