Further debate on compulsory vaccination

According to the latest warning from Health Minister Wolfgang Mosquito stone (Greens) will still be marked by caution with regard to Corona at Christmas 2022. “I believe that next Christmas we must continue to protect the elderly and sick,” he said. The way out of the crisis is not contamination, but vaccination. The vaccination should come as planned in February.

Burgenland Governor Hans Peter Doskozil (SPÖ) sees it differently. The down-to-earth politician is the first of his guild to say what many Austrians already think: The vaccination law comes too quickly, too unprofessionally – and may not even be necessary. EXXpress readers have also been warning for weeks: The implementation of the mandatory vaccination law, which came into force on February 1st, is premature, and the more than 100,000 written objections that have meanwhile become more than 100,000 written objections could not possibly be processed and answered correctly by this date. A Central European constitutional state would not be worthy of a Central European constitutional state to “run over” what are presumably justified concerns of doctors and lawyers.
