Apparently, Media Markt is accepting fine proceedings with the action. As the competent authority reported to the tz, they noticed during repeated checks that Media Markt and Saturn branches are not so strict about the mandatory checks of 2-G certificates. One reason for this could be that a court in Lower Saxony has already overturned the 2G rule.
