For one, everything is locked “far too slowly”, the other follower of Mückstein lacks “measures in schools”, and still others sharply criticize the overall performance of the green health minister: his posting on the social media platforms brought the green politician a verbal one Waddling dance – he must have only meant well and wanted to communicate directly with the Austrians.
In the heated mood, however, politicians can do little right on Twitter and Facebook: Many critics now use a post from a minister too much to properly let out their anger about the corona measures or the compulsory vaccination or about “too lax” regulations.
Wolfgang Mückstein was immediately confronted with demands for resignation when he informed GECKO about the “effective speed limits” against the corona virus and about the next meeting with the GECKO crisis team. Quote from the Twitter reactions: “The only update should be with you: ‘I’m packing my bags.’” Or: “Please end this madness and finally admit that serious mistakes have been made here!” And another Twitter user attacked Mückstein like this: “You have developed into a real oath.”
For many social media users the main problem was that two days would pass before the federal government and GECKO announced a new strategy on Thursday.
