The French football club Girondins Bordeaux is said to compete in the Cup at Stade Brest on Sunday despite 21 Corona failures among its professionals. 16 players are currently in quarantine, the first division announced on Thursday. The squad of the fighting team consists of 30 players. Club president Gerard Lopez accused the French football association of “lack of flexibility”.
The club wants to seek dialogue with the association in order to find the “best possible solution” for the game and prevent a show that would be “not appropriate to the Coupe de France”.
