The lawyers, including a former federal judge, are therefore convinced that the exclusion of unvaccinated people through the 2G obligation is not proportionate because they are healthy people. Therefore, according to a report by the NZZ, they turned to Swiss politicians and formulated their constitutional concerns. On the one hand, they question the regularity and, on the other hand, the urgency – because the situation in the hospitals would not justify such a measure.
“The only goal (..) seems to be to compel the ‘reluctant’ unvaccinated part of the Swiss population with increasingly totalitarian compulsions to vaccinate,” the statement said. This violates the constitution several times. Instead, they call for vulnerable groups to be better protected with milder measures.
