After a positive Corona case of a service employee in the Ischgler Bar “Kitzloch”, which hit the headlines at the beginning of the pandemic, the state of Tyrol launched a public appeal as a precaution and to be on the safe side. People who were there between December 23 and 24 were asked – as is customary in these cases – to carry out a PCR test as a precautionary measure.
In addition, these people should pay attention to their state of health for 14 days and, as a precaution, pay more attention to hygiene and safety measures such as keeping their distance, wearing FFP2 masks and avoiding crowds. According to the country, the person affected had had symptoms since December 25 and had last worked in the restaurant on December 24, 2021.
According to the current Covid regulations, bar operations are currently not allowed, and food and drinks may only be taken at assigned seats, it was emphasized. It is compulsory for staff to wear an FFP2 mask and a 3G certificate. 2G proof applies to guests; outside the seat, guests must also wear an FFP2 mask.
According to the state, the health authority carries out surveys on the spot in coordination with the police with regard to the registration lists of the guests in order to be able to inform all affected guests directly, as it was said. But in order not to lose unnecessary time and to act as quickly as possible, the public appeal was made.
At the beginning of the corona pandemic in March 2020, the “Kitzloch” hit the headlines together with Ischgl. On March 7th, a test result from the après-ski bar bartender was positive. The employees of the “Kitzloch” were consequently isolated and the bar was temporarily closed. On March 8th it became public that previously ill Icelanders were in the “Kitzloch”. On March 9th, the “Kitzloch” bar was officially closed. (APA / red)
