Most recently it had become quiet in the case of the 14-year-old student from Tulln who was killed in Vienna-Donaustadt. The reason: The extradition proceedings for one of the three suspect Afghans who are currently in custody in Great Britain are still ongoing. According to the lawyer for the girl’s parents, Florian Höllwarth, a decision will not be made until the beginning of January. A fourth suspect is now at large: he had no connection to the terrible crime.
If the extradition is allowed, charges can be expected from March at the earliest. The public prosecutor’s office will also obtain psychiatric reports from the three Afghans. According to the autopsy, the girl died of suffocation and poisoning.
