On Wednesday there was a continuation of the murder trial against the beer keeper Albert L. at the Vienna Criminal Court. On the first day of the hearing on Monday, he pleaded guilty, but his denomination was not sufficient as a legally binding statement – because of his intoxication he did not commit to the act remember more.
Two days have passed, apparently enough to ventilate his memory. In any case, the beer innkeeper appeared on Wednesday with a confession: “I’m sorry, I admit that I am guilty of everything,” he had to read from a piece of paper. “I don’t want to admit that I am capable of such a lousy act.” The psychiatric expert was right, the alcohol consumption (and the associated gaps in memory, note) was a protective claim, he had activated the repression mechanism. “I don’t want to say more. I went inside. I know that I have to take responsibility, ”he read on in calm words.
The murder case is not the only crime for which the Viennese must answer. Serious coercion and offenses against the weapons law are also accused.
The defendant, who in addition to Manfred Arbacher-Stöger was also represented by a lawyer by Rudolf Mayr and Gregor Klammer, had achieved some inglorious fame before the incriminated act by initiating a legal dispute with the Green Club chairwoman Sigrid Maurer. His alcohol and drug consumption increased massively over the years, which had a problematic effect on his relationship with his partner.
The Bierwirt stood on trial eleven times for his chauvinist riots. If found guilty, he would face ten to 20 years or even life imprisonment. Because of his personality disorder, the public prosecutor has applied for the accused to be placed in an institution for mentally abnormal lawbreakers. (APA / Red.)
