People with a valid 2G certificate can still participate in social coexistence, but restrictions apply to those who have not been vaccinated. The 2G rules in gastro, hotel and retail will remain in place. Even on the holidays.
For people without valid 2G proof, the general lockdown continues to apply. You are therefore also subject to the general, all-day exit restrictions. They are only allowed to leave the house under the conditions that are already known, such as work, training, purchasing important goods. Participation in funerals or demonstrations is also possible. However, as reported, exceptions apply for the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year.
On the holidays there will be another exceptional reason for leaving the house for unvaccinated people: Attending meetings in small groups with a maximum of ten people – for example Christmas with family or friends. You don’t need valid 2G proof for this, as the government announced on Friday. For larger groups of eleven to 25 people, all people need valid 2G proof. The relaxations apply on December 24th, 25th and 26th as well as at the turn of the year, i.e. on December 31st.
Furthermore, only vaccinated and convalescent people are allowed to go to the host, unvaccinated people are only allowed to pick up food. The curfew remains at 11 p.m. Exceptionally, however, it will be canceled on New Year’s Eve (December 31). The usual curfew hours of the federal states then apply. In the restaurant itself, an FFP2 mask is required, except at the seat. You also have to provide your contact details. The night restaurant remains closed. (APA / red)
