The former popular ORF presenter Reinhard Jesionek told in the Report24 exclusive interview what moved him to his more than critical Facebook post and why he left his ORF home.

The ex-ORF presenter himself did not expect the enormous attention this posting would attract. He gave Report24 exclusive insights into the background of the ORF swamp. “It is not true that I am a Stroblisch vaccine victim. Let’s put it this way: I would be a Stroblisch vaccine victim if I were still working. I took this step myself a year ago.“, The popular, former ORF presenter Reinhard Jesionek made clear right at the beginning of our interview. It was impossible for him to participate. “The next step would have been to advertise the QR code and vaccination among older people in my programs. I couldn’t keep up with that. ”
The collaboration with ORF ended like “a date you don’t go to”. The programs planned for this year would not have come off anyway because the station no longer allows unvaccinated guests and presenters. For Jesionek, who survived a corona infection in the previous year without any problems, a vaccination is out of the question. According to his doctors, this treatment would be incompatible with his existing antibodies and could actually do more harm than good to his health.

Pure paid PR and no proper information
The moderator himself was surprised that his Facebook posting is making such waves. Actually, the Facebook profile would have been down for a while. He said that the “unvaccinated” simply rose when his ex-employer did not report on 650 doctors and nurses who had demonstrated in front of the medical association, but simply dismissed it as an “illegal corona denier demo”. “The measure is full, it just doesn’t work that way anymore.”
Jesionek knows how the ORF works. For the money that the station collects from the government, it delivers PR campaigns instead of information. The truth looks very different. The moderator sees various reasons for the end of his collaboration with ORF. On the one hand, Wrabetz and Strobl have made the station into the state radio, which it has always been accused of. Before Wrabetz and Strobel, the directors would at least have looked primarily at the program. Now the public broadcaster is only a pure government radio. This conversion has been going on for 10 years and if Jesionek hadn’t worked for ORF before that, there would never have been someone like him at this station. On the other hand For him, the paid advertisements such as “the vaccination lottery” and “Austria vaccinates” are not acceptable because it is pure PR and not real information. The popular moderator has now taken a completely different route. He is currently working on his new platform (www.willkommen-digital.at). Here he would like to relive digitization and take on people who have to restructure because they no longer know what to do professionally. “The difficult thing about the current situation and why so few people dare to speak their minds is that you have to be able to afford it.” He is independent of the ORF and this system and therefore he can freely express his opinion.
If you think differently, you have to be able to afford it. That is why so many are silent.

When we asked how many employees said goodbye to ORF because it only accepted vaccinated people on and behind the screens, a counter-question followed. The employees who would still work at the station are already system-compliant and directional. There is no one here who would still criticize or think differently. The question would rather be why the ORF, as a public service station, only accepts people who have been vaccinated, exclusively on the screen, although 3G actually applies in the workplace. Why he’s leaving out 25-30% of his fee payers. It would be like a store saying it no longer wants vegans as customers. That would be the public question. Why can ORF boast that all people who watch TV with the ORF logo are vaccinated? The fact is: Nobody can be invited and nobody is allowed to moderate who has not been vaccinated. It is questionable whether this can still be combined with objectivity.
The ORF is saved dead
The moderator is certain: the damage will be immense in the medium and long term, for the broadcaster because many people turn away. The moderator clearly sees the problem with reports, such as the protest in front of the medical association, which was not correctly reported and only referred to as a “sworn demo”, in the lack of staff. The ORF just doesn’t have enough people anymore. That the sentence that the doctors and the nursing staff were oaths disappeared from the report in the course of the afternoon can only be explained by the fact that some intern received a report and published it unquestioningly with the trained wording have.
The late reporting on the terrorist attack on November 2, 2020 also shows the shortage of staff. The thing with Rafreider only happened because there was no one else. The company is saved dead or sick. Jesionek sees two ways in which the population can put the station in its place. One thing is to speak out against it and write a complaint to the broadcaster. The other would be turning off the TV and deregistering the GIS.
